Weeds and Rabbits
Weeds
Weeds are the very first living organisms in the current ecosystem.
Starting on barren ground, weeds emerge and go through a life cycle of sprouting, growing, reproducing, and dying.
If left unchecked, the entire island will eventually be covered in weeds.
Rabbits
When weeds reach a certain density, a pair of male and female baby rabbits will appear on a random piece of land.
These rabbits consume the weeds to grow, and when they reach maturity, they seek a mate to reproduce.
If they are unable to eat weeds, they will naturally starve to death.
They interact with fully grown weeds, and if the rabbit population grows excessively, weeds may become scarce, potentially leading to rabbit extinction.
However, since weeds will always regrow eventually, the ecosystem will continue its cycle.
